Q. What Domain Name Servers (DNS) do I use?
A.

If you have not made arrangements with us, you are responsible for pointing your domain to our domain name servers. The primary and secondary domain name servers to use are:

NS1.CONQUESTWEB.NET
NS2.CONQUESTWEB.NET


Q. What is my temporary Website URL?

A.

Until your domain is pointed to our domain name servers, you may temporarily access your Web site at: http://YOURLOGIN.nt4.ntwebb.com/

Q. What is my FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Server?
A.
Some accounts allow multiple FTP accounts to be created from with the control panel. Each Web account will have at least one account which can be used to upload files to your Web site.

Your FTP sever login information is as follows:
Host: www.YOURLOGIN.com (or extension used for your server) or
YOURLOGIN.nt4.ntwebb.com (temp)

Login: YOURLOGIN.domain_ext (e.g. google.com)
Password: your password

NOTE 1 - If your domain name is over 20 characters long, your FTP username will be the first 20 characters of your domain. For example, if the domain name is areallylongdomainname.com, the FTP username will be reallylongdomainnam.

NOTE 2 - Web site files are to be placed in the 'wwwroot' directory. Database files (i.e. Access) are to be placed in the 'db' directory. Your root directory on the Web server is c:/domains/domain.com) where 'domain.com' should be replaced with your domain name.


Q. Do I have email associated with my account?
A.
Yes, please use the following servers to access your email:

POP: mail.domain.com
SMTP: mail.domain.com
where domain.com is your domain name.

You can manage all email accounts from your account.

In addition to managing your email accounts in the control panel, you can, also, read/manage your email on-line via the iMail Web interface at http://mail.domain.com:8383/ where 'domain.com' is the name of your domain. Your login for your iMail account will be username@domain.com where username is the POP account (use your control panel login name for iMail management or any valid POP account name for standard email access) and domain.com is your domain name. For example, if your domain is yahoo.com, you can manage iMail with the user name yahoo@yahoo.com. The password for the management account is the same as your Login Passowrd.


Q. How do I access my Website through a secure SSL connection?
A. To access your Web site via a secure SSL connection, use the SSL URL : https://secure3.ntwebb.com/domain-com/ where domain-com is your domain name with the dot replaced by a hyphen.

Q.

How can I manage my Website using Microsoft FrontPage?
A.
If you wish to manage your Web site with Microsoft FrontPage, you must install the Front Page server extensions. If you haven't made arrangements with Conquest Internet Services, you are responsible for installing the extensions from within your control panel.

Your FrontPage user name will be domain.com_fp as your user name where 'domain.com' should be replaced with your domain name. For example, if your domain name is yahoo.com, you will use yahoo.com_fp to access the site via the FrontPage software. Your password is set when the extensions are installed.

NOTE - If your domain name is over 17 characters long, your FrontPage username will be the first 17 characters of your domain and then _fp. For example, if the domain name is areallylongdomainname.com, the FrontPage username will be areallylongdomain_fp.
